A product of small-town southern culture, Abbie Redmon escaped to Washington, DC, in 2003. She’s been to a few places, but she wants to go to a few more. That’s why she recently quit her job to become a freelance writer and editor — putting her two English degrees to good use and giving her time and flexibility to see more of the world. When Abbie’s not telling stories, fixing your grammar, or studying maps, she’s probably out taking photos. In this journal, Abbie writes about the highlights of her trip through India, including train rides, elephants, and motorbiking through Goa.
