Today we ventured out to East Williamsburg, which is less developed and more gritty than Williamsburg-proper. Mountain Province is a quaint, family-owned joint with simple cafe fare -- coffee/espresso and a small selection of pastries. I enjoyed a slice of their homemade cassava cake, a traditional Filipino coconut flan-ish dessert. The super friendly staff made up for the sluggish wifi.
