By the time we arrived at Maneki at 5:15pm, there was already a line outside of the restaurant, which would not open until 5:30pm. Once the door opened, I grabbed seats from the bar, while waiting for J checked with the hostess to see if any table was available. It was good that he advised me so because there was definitely no table available, and the seating at the bar was limited (there were still a few others available, so we weren't hoarding!).

We ordered: black cod collars, monk fish liver pate, soba noodles, and chirashi bowl. Every bite was quality.
